Ah Red... the color of confidence and a major trend for this F/W season, which is how it got me thinking about the many different ways I could incorporate it into my wardrobe as much as possible. Read on to find out 3 ways you can add a bit more spice into your life.
As a friends Fall wedding quickly approached, I decided this would be a great way to start! I love the hue of red Club Monaco cold shoulder dress in Cactus Flower but even more than that, the fit is unreal. Hitting me right at the natural waist and flaring out to right at my knee, this dress is classic and sexy.
There are a few different ways to accessorize an all over red ensemble such as this but I ended up pairing my black Stewart Weitzman Nudist heels and a Sequin Clutch from Zara. Since this trend is such a statement in itself, your accessories should always accent the dress rather than over power it. Not attending an evening event? Pair your red dress with nude or cream accessories to bring your outfit to a more daytime friendly look. Here some more of my fav all-over red looks for this season.
Here and There
Using red as an accent is a really easy way to be on trend this Fall. Update your classic, everyday pieces with a pop of bright red or a deep burgundy color like these satin jeweled flats from Zara. Using trends to accent your style is a great way to introduce colors or textures that you typically wouldn’t try, in the most budget friendly way possible. Since I typically stick to more neutral colours, it was easy for me to incorporate small amounts of red into my wardrobe while still keeping on trend.
And then there are the times when you already have an amazing outfit picked out and there’s no way you could possibly add a pop red right? Wrong! Add a pop of color to your lips with your favorite shade of red like MAC Ruby Woo or MAC Red. With and amazing outfit already picked out, this is an easy way for me to be on trend without even being in my closet. Get this classic Hollywood vibe with some of my fav products below!
Whether you use a lot or just a little, this trend is bound to make a statement however you do decide to incorporate this it into your wardrobe. Stay fierce my friends!
